Pocket PC - Secure or Unsecured?

BOSS Banner 2008
Abstract
The Personal Digital Assistant, because of its purpose of providing on the go business people with all pertinent information in a small compact easy to use device, has inherent security vulnerabilities. These vulnerabilities stem from two major pieces of functionality that all PDAs have, small size (physical) and an always-on communications capability with infrared ports (logical). This paper examines some of the steps that can be taken to secure the information stored on PDAs.
